Is "Swee' Pea" Popeye And Olive Oyl's illegitimate Child ? And Where They Married ?

Olive Oyl is Popeye's girlfriend, she has a very slender build, long black hair and is taller than Popeye. Her outfit usually consists of a tight dress, which covers her whole body. In the cartoons, she is the girlfriend of Popeye, but she is fickle, and can be extremely jealous. She is kidnapped by Bluto, who is Popeye's archrival for her affections, and when Olive gets angry at Popeye for whatever he has done wrong, it's usually Bluto's doing. In the cartoons, she takes care of a baby named Swee'Pea or she sometimes asks Popeye to take care of him. But is Popeye really the father ! or Bluto ! 😁... just kidding Lol. It is sort of not clear whether Popeye is the father, but in the comics, Swee'Pea is a child under Popeye's care when he received him in the mail ("really in the mail") Later sources, mostly in the cartoon series say that Swee'Pea is Olive Oyl's cousin or nephew that she babysits on occasions.

Now about the marriage/ Where They?

The Short Answer : NO! and YES !.... Popeye and Olive Oyl where never married in the vintage comics or cartoons. But 70 years later !... when the Rhode Island-based "Ocean Comics Inc" put out a special comic book edition, 'The Wedding of Popeye and Olive,' hit the newsstands February 1998.

Well, there you have it.. no illegitimate child by Popeye and Olive Oyl.... Glad to get that interesting fact out of the way ! "Cause I was wondering myself before I did some research". I hope this post was informative.."Well blow me down" 😜

Do You Remember Gilligan's Island ? I Bet You Do ! But Did You Know They Had A Cartoon Series ? 1974-1977

"The New Adventures Of Gilligan's Island" was the name of the animated cartoon series that ran from 1974 to 1977.

The animated series was a remake of the original series, and the plots of the episodes were very similar to those of the original series. The main difference was the inclusion of Stubby, an anthropomorphic monkey who is befriended by Gilligan.

The show was geared towards young children and the educational consultant was Nathan Cohen of UCLA. They produced 24 episodes of educational segments to teach children on moral topics...with Gilligan and the Skipper discussing the moral topic of the cartoon at the end. The cartoon show characters were voiced by the original actors except for Tina Louise and Dawn Wells.

The Gilligan's Island cartoon was first produced by Filmation Associates. The company

had approached Sherwood Schwartz (Screen writer/Producer) in 1971 but he was not interested at the time,so they tried again in 1972 and 1973. Finally, Filmation Associates got their break and Schwartz agreed to license the show on the condition that he had a say in the script, storyboards and other creative aspects of the show. Now watch a "New Adventure Of Gilligan's Island" cartoon....

No Fly Swatter Could Kill Fearless Fly !

Back in the 60's, 1965 to be exact. I used to watch a so called knock off of, "Atom Ant"/ Mighty Mouse, well maybe not the Mouse because he wasn't an insect. As annoying as a real house fly can be, I thought "Fearless Fly" was kind of cute cartoon ("can I say that") I'm a dude, Lol. It held my attention, and I was 12, in 1965. The superhero fly was Hiram, a fly that lived in a matchbox. It was the most popular addition to the Milton the Monster Show 1965. When danger came about, he went into a matchbox, kind of like Superman and a telephone booth, changed into a red sweater and put on a pair of super powered glasses and became a superhero named Fearless Fly. According to the opening scene, he was more powerful than a speeding rocket and faster than a beam of light. No fly swatter could harm him, no fly paper could hold him, and no bug spray could kill him. His chief nemesis was Dr. Goo Fee, and his sidekick Gung Ho. Fearless Fly was powerless without his glasses, he would always express his fate by telling the audience, "My glasses! Without them, I'm helpless!"  but always found them in the nick of time. Hiram would always stop at the Sugar Bowl Cafe to talk with his girlfriend Flory and a bully named Horsey the Horsefly.

Fearless Fly animated cartoons lasted from 1965 to 1968 on animated tv series "Milton The Monster Show". Produce and directed by Hal Seeger.

Fearless Fly had about 26 episodes. For more on those episodes use my wiki search at the top of my blog...Now for a look at Fearless Fly cartoon. BJ/ 🙈🙉🙊

As A Kid Did You Have A Learning Problem ? ....Maybe You Listen To "School House Rocks" Cartoons To Help You Out - 1973

I loved "School House Rocks", it combined catchy cool beats 😎 (Music) to teach basic school subjects. It held your attention with animation cartoon figures. My favorite was "Conjunction Junction". The original series, Schoolhouse Rock! lasted from 1973 to 1984 and aired on the US television network ABC. The show's first episode aired on September 13, 1973. The show's concept was an animated series that would teach young viewers math and other basic skills using a rock song as its basis. The music was

composed by Robert B. Dorough and illustrated by Tom Yohe. The series was produced by Chuck Jones. The show aired for 27 years on ABC and was revived from 1993 to 1996 for syndication. The idea all started with David Mccall an advertising

executive whose son was having problems learning certain subjects in school but could remember lyrics to songs on a particular album he played at home. So, dad hired Robert Dorough to write a song about multiplications and it work! ......for more great detail information on "School House Rocks" go to my Wiki Search bar at the top of my blog.
